IUCN HAS PRINTED A REPORT ON SINDH'S ECONIMIC SHARE IN PAKISTAN'S ECONOMY.

Sindh gives most of Taxes collected by federation from its ports and industry that is 73%........what she gets 23% with lot of gratitudes.

• None of Mega projects in Sindh since 1947........
• Sindh provides 70 % of garments and textile
• 90% of fisheries or marine catch, 100% of fresh water catch,almost all of wet lands are in sindh.
• In eachsector of economy it has sizeable amount but in return gets peanuts...
• 2% sindhis get jobs in federal govt, and 40% in their own market/Province.
• ONE ferderal sec. is sindhi out of 150 !
• Sindhi has no rights in their own Province, more than 70% are living below poverty line ratio is 40% in Punjab on expence of Sindhis.
• Most of Gas and Oil is expolored in Sindh and its Production is increasing what is being given is NO JOBS to locals in gas and oil exploring companies and sites!! No up lift to areas from where they get oil & Gas!
• Sindh has 40% share in Agriculture production and 60% in Rice but they have to pay more taxes get less water.
• Sindh is only province where ppl from all over Pakistan came for getting jobs at least 5000 ppl from other parts come to sindh daily but they dont pay any taxes, earn and sen home sindh getts more and more ARID by each day.mWhole of Sind is ARID ....water deficient 120mm per person was ratio in 2002 while normal requirement is 2000mm per person per day...!
• More dams and Barrages means less water to sindh....they are saying sindh will be only benifactor from kala bagh while from both previous dams (Mangla and Tarbela) millions of acres of barren land in Punjab was made cultivable on expence of Sindh's share! now they want to make 9lac acres of barren land cultivable in punjab and NWFP HOW it can benifit Sindh until and unless they stop last drop flowing to sindh diverted to these new land which they want to make cultivable !!!
• Since last 07 years Sindh has got less and lesser of its legal share of water while punjab got its full and more from Sindh's hsare...!
• Now in Upper Sindh ppl get only one crop per annum than its normal 2 and 3 per annum before that ....Kala bagh will lead to zero crop per annum and 70 percent of Sindhi guinea pigs will be forced to change profession to begging if that damned Dam comes in to being!!
